Tomato & Basil Bruschetta

  • French bread stick or Italian loaf
  • 2 medium tomatoes
  • 10 fresh basil leaves
  • Olive oil


  • Preheat the oven to 400° F.
  • Cut a large French bread stick or Italian loaf into 1/2 inch slices. Brush the slices with olive oil on both sides and put them in the oven. Bake until golden on both sides.
  • Chop the tomatoes into small cubes and spread them on the bread slices.
  • Chop the basil and spread it on top of the tomato cubes.
  • Add some olive oil on top.
